Steve Eaton, LPN
Clinical Field Manager
My name is Steve. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in geriatric and dementia care in the Tacoma area. I have worked with Ambient Aging for five years, and prior to that, I gained experience on the nursing floor and as a manager of a memory care unit. These roles have provided me with a profound understanding of the distinct needs of older adults and their families.
I enjoy the challenge of supporting people with dementia and other degenerative conditions. To me, nursing is not just about providing quality care—it’s about helping individuals thrive, retain independence, and find meaningful moments in their daily lives. I pride myself on approaching my work with compassion, patience, respect, and honesty, and I believe it is every nurse’s purpose to preserve dignity and foster genuine human connections.
Outside of nursing, I am a filmmaker and artist. My creative pursuits give me fresh perspectives, reminding me daily that every person’s story deserves to be honored and shared. Most importantly, I am a devoted husband and father, finding my greatest joy in life with my wife and son.
